What happens after my free first course ends?

The first course is free for both instructors and students. After that, you can choose to use Acadly Pro or Acadly Basic for the next course. There's no automatic charge.

Who pays, me or my students?

Either works. Some instructors cover the cost themselves, others pass it on to students per course. You choose this when you set up a course, and you can change it for future courses.

Can I switch between Pro and Basic later?

Yes. You can choose the course type at the start of any new course.

What's the difference between this and the enterprise version my school might already have?

The enterprise version includes fraud alerts, LMS and SSO integration, and done-for-you course setup, all managed at the institutional level. Individual plans give you full control over your own course, without needing institutional buy-in.

Does my course data carry over if my institution later signs an enterprise agreement?

Yes. Your course history and attendance records remain intact if your institution transitions to an enterprise plan. Talk to our team when that happens to ensure a smooth transition.

Can I reuse my course data?

Yes. You can copy activities across all the courses you teach or co-teach. You can also add other users like co-instructors and Teaching Assistants to your course to collaborate with them on authoring activities or tracking attendance.

How is enterprise pricing determined?

Enterprise contracts are annual or multi-year. Pricing is based on the number of active student users, integrations (LMS/SSO), services (like bulk course upload or dedicated onboarding website), and custom requirements (if any). There is no hardware cost (BYOD) or limit on the number of courses/instructors. Submit the form above and we'll come back with a proposal specific to your institution.

How long does deployment take?

Most institutions are ready for the first class within 2-4 weeks. Acadly's team handles LMS integration. The instructor onboarding and training takes time, not the technical work.

Can we run a pilot before committing institution-wide?

Acadly offers a limited number of structured pilots every year with full onboarding support, LMS integration, and a dedicated support site for your institution. We work with you on determining pilot objectives, KPIs, and determinants of success. You can ask us for more information at support@acadly.com or by filling the form above.

What compliance documentation is available?

HECVAT and VPAT are available for immediate download. Acadly is FERPA compliant under enterprise agreement and GDPR compliant for institutions with international student populations.

What happens to our data if we end the agreement?

Your institution's data is exportable at any time in standard formats. Acadly does not retain student data beyond the terms of your enterprise agreement.

Do I need any special hardware to use Acadly Here?

No. Acadly Here runs entirely on the devices your group already carries. No scanners, no clickers, no equipment to buy or maintain.

How is this different from Acadly's main attendance product?

Acadly Here is a lighter, standalone version built for groups outside higher education. It includes the core attendance features like scheduled check-ins and CSV exports, but doesn't include classroom-specific tools like LMS integration, PowerPoint attendance, or fraud detection.

How many people can I track with one subscription?

Pricing scales with your group size. Download the app to see options tailored to how many people you're tracking and how many groups you need to track attendance for.

Can I export attendance records?

Yes. You can download a CSV of your attendance history at any time, useful for reporting to a board, a school, or anyone else who needs the records.

Does Acadly Here work for one-time events, or only recurring groups?

Is my group's data private?

Yes. Acadly Here collects only what's needed to track attendance. No location data is captured or stored.

Can I use Acadly Here for university classes?

We don't recommend it. Higher-ed classroom attendance requires enterprise-grade data and compliance handling that Acadly Here doesn't provide. If you're tracking attendance for university courses, use Acadly's main product instead.
